Middlesex University Dubai's Climate Watch Party Inspires Eco Action

December 4, 2018 - Middlesex University Dubai's first year students joined eco-experts from around the world in hosting our first Climate Reality Watch Party. This was part of the 24 Hours of Reality web cast that included talks from academics, experts, celebrities and innovators who are all working to alleviate climate related disasters.
As well as inviting their fellow students to hear from former US Vice President, Al Gore, on the dangers of climate change and steps needed to address future issues, the students also filmed their own content as part of a formative exercise for their second term assessment.
We were delighted to welcome Morrad Irsane, founder of Melltoo and Shana Tufail the UK lead and mentor for the Climate Reality Project to address our students.
